| The acclaimed writer
Joyce Carol Oates presented "A Reading with Commentary" on Monday,
March 13, in Trinity's Stieren Theater. Oates shared stories related to her writing
and read several of her poems to an overflow crowd of more than 500 people. Oates also
read an excerpt from her novel, Blonde, a fictionalized account of the life of
Marilyn Monroe, which will be released later this spring. Her presentation was part of the Stieren Arts Enrichment Series.

Netanyahu, former
Israeli Prime Minister, said Israel must create conditions for a secure peace with
its Arab neighbors and to create a free economy and prosperity. Netanyahu spoke on the Trinity
campus Monday, Feb. 28 before an audience of 2,000 people as part of the University's
Distinguished Lecture Series. A web cast of his
