Research Interests:
Research in my group is in the general area of environmental heterogeneous catalysis. We are beginning work on several different projects in catalyst development (primarily supported metal catalysts) and the studying/developing the chemistry chemistry occurring on catalyst surfaces. My group is just beginning to form, so there are a lot of opportunities for research on a variety of projects. For more information, please see my research pages.
Teaching Interests:
I am currently teaching one of the sections of Trinity's introductory chemistry course: Chemistry in the Modern World. If you're in my class, most of the course related materials will be posted using Trinity's Blackboard service.
Since I've moved around a lot the past few years, I have the good (and bad) fortune of having friends dispersed around the country. Since I'm basically too lazy to do a really good job of consistently keeping in touch with everyone, I am trying to put at least a little information together here. Feel free to look around, but if you don't know me, I really don't know why you would care. Maybe you are enthralled by the glamorous life of an untenured college professor and want to see what I do in my spare time. Maybe you need to indulge some repressed voyeuristic tendencies. Whatever your vice, enjoy the trip and let me know if there is something else you'd like me to post or an improvement you'd like me to make.
