I teach 5th grade history & 7th and 8th grade computer classes (this year) in an independent k-12 school.

1992-1997: Asst Dir of Writing Center, Converse College

1997-2000: 6th Gr Teacher, public elem school

2000-2003: created PR firm with 3 other women, became creative director

2003-2004: Communications & Dvt Coordinator small nonprofit in teen pregnancy

What are the key skills, abilities, and personal qualities necessary to succeed in this type of work?  

versatility, creative thinking, problem solving

What do you enjoy most about your current position?  

using my talents and working with kids
