All of the writing we had to do was so important to my being able to do my job.  Also, the varied courses that we were required to take made certain that I learned how to learn and to enjoy being a life-long learner.

What advice for someone entering this field?

Project Management/Consulting -- it's not rocket science but you do have like solving "puzzles",  and thinking for yourself; anyone with an interest in true variety and a fast paced lifestyle would enjoy this work.
