What advice for someone entering this field?
|
If you really enjoy Econ classes, consider taking
some extra math courses at Trinity. You never know if you might wish
you could get a PhD in Econ somewhere/someday.
Also, if you are considering Finance as a major,
I would recommend Accounting. CPAs are in VERY short supply right
now, and CPAs are valuable in the world of finance as well as
accounting.
Finally, if you are considering business school,
buy the Kaplan book/cd rom and the Princeton Review book. Study hard,
because the single most important criteria is your GMAT score. You
can get into a great school without a great score, but it's a whole lot
easier if you have the score.
