Briefly describe what you do   

My position is a hybrid between a computer systems analyst and a business analyst. I solicit and document computer system requirents from both technical and business user perspective and serve as a liason between the technical and business groups.

What are the key skills, abilities, and personal qualities necessary to succeed in this type of work?  

You must be able to assimilate new knowledge, but more importantly, you must be able to effectively commincate a new syntesis of that knowledge. Good written and oral presentation skills are essential.

What do you enjoy most about your current position?  

Because of the short life span of most computer applications, you do something new on each new assignment.

Most important/valuable lesson or activity in college that impacted your career ?

The broad education provided a foundation of knowledge that makes is simple for me to understand business and technical requirement from mutliple industries.

What advice for someone entering this field?
