Briefly describe what you do   

 

I am responsible for all aspects of international operations for 2 leading franchise brands--WineStyles, a boutique wine and gift store, and Salad Creations, a quick service restaurant featuring fresh salads, wraps and smoothies.

What are the key skills, abilities, and personal qualities necessary to succeed in this type of work?  

An ability to understand and adapt one's business style to vastly different cultural and business norms.  Keen attention to detail.  Ability to quickly form a working knowledge of all key aspects of vastly different business models.

What do you enjoy most about your current position?  

The opportunity to expand two of the most refreshing concepts in franchising to a multitude of different cultures.

Most important/valuable lesson or activity in college that impacted your career  

 

The combination of an extremely high-caliber business curriculum paired with the cultural understanding and balance provided by Trinity's liberal arts general curriculum delivered the balance of perspective necessary to excel in multi-national, multi-cultural business.

What advice for someone entering this field?

Never let a day go by without learning something new.
