Most important/valuable lesson or activity in
college that impacted your career
|
Trinity taught me to value education, and sparked
my desire to work in the university environment. I also learned that
professors are approachable people who are there to help you - this is
a lesson that many of my peers from larger schools never experienced.
The guidance I received from my professors inspired me to work in
higher education. |
|
What advice for someone entering this field?
|
Get ready to work! It is a wonderful field, but
nights and weekends are often times when programs are held. Enter a
master's degree program as soon as you are ready to get into the
field! When looking at programs, look for programs geared toward
student affairs work. Feel free to contact me with questions! |
