What are the key skills, abilities, and personal
qualities necessary to succeed in this type of work?
Knowledge of art history, volunteer management,

What do you enjoy most about your current
position?
I most enjoy working with the volunteers and
having the opportunity to constantly learn new things. I also enjoy
working with my colleagues who are enthusiastic about their work. |
Most important/valuable lesson or activity in
college that impacted your career

What advice for someone entering this field?
Get experience however you can: volunteer, do
internships, look for opportunities. Be willing to sell yourself to
potential employers: show how your experiences will apply to your new
job duties. (Waiting tables, for instance, shows that you can deal
with people; teaching bible school shows that you have some teaching
experience.) Too many job seekers sell themselves short and discount
what they have already done. |
