Services for Alumni

While the primary mission of Career Services at Trinity University focuses on currently enrolled students our office does offer services for graduates of the University.  For a full description of services, please see below:

Career & Graduate School Advising
Alumni can schedule an advising appointment by call 210/999-8321. We can meet with you on campus if you are in the area, or we can arrange a phone appointment if you are unable to visit campus.

Web Based Resources

TigerJobs
TigerJobs is our web-based position listing system that is unique to the Trinity campus.  The part-time, full-time and internship positions that are listing in this site are sent directly to Career Services from employers across the United States. TigerJobs offers a self-registration system. Click here to access TigerJobs.

NACElink Connect
NACElink is an online job board sponsored by our national professional association, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE. To access NACElink Connect, click on New users register here in the adjoining panel. Click on "register for the first time" and create your personal account .

Discover-Career Assessment
DISCOVER® provides guidance and information to help people make important career and educational decisions.

  • Research-based assessments of career-relevant interests, abilities, and job values help individuals consider career options that are a good match for them. ACT's World-of-Work Map organizes occupations into six clusters, parallel to Holland's Hexagon, to help users focus on preparing for career options that fit them best.
  • DISCOVER's comprehensive, developmental guidance process helps users identify their strengths and needs, make good career decisions, and build a plan based on their personal profiles.
  • The system offers complete, current databases of occupations, college majors, schools and training institutions, financial aid/scholarships, and military options.

Self registration is required; email careerservices@trinity.edu for a User Id to begin .

Reciprocal Services
Career Services may be able to arrange the use of another college’s career services for Trinity alumni living away from the San Antonio area. Often, peer institutions will allow others to use their career services library, job listings, directories, videotapes and other resources. You may be able to attend their group workshops. To explore this option, request a Letter of Reciprocity from us asking for reciprocal services and note which college/university you are hoping to access. Please keep in mind that each campus makes their own policy about which services they will offer under reciprocity and some may choose to charge a fee.

Career Resource Area
The Career Resource Area houses numerous books, guides and directories designed to assist students and alumni in their career development. The library also contains print copies of job listings, newsletters and a collection of guides to graduate and professional study. If you have a question or need assistance, you contact our office at 210/999-8321 or at careerservices@trinity.edu
