    Lab 4

Design an attractive format for a memo (don't use one of the templates Word already has available), and then use it to send me a memorandum.  You'll want at least the following elements:  a heading for "Memorandum" or "Memo" or something similar, and areas for "To:  ", "From:  ", "Re:  " or "Subject:  ", and "Date:  ".

Make sure your memorandum includes at least the following features:  some text in boldface, some text in italic, at least two different fonts, at least two different font sizes.

(On the fonts:  please don't use anything too exotic -- if I don't have the fonts you use installed on my computer, I won't be able to view your memo properly without changing it to a fond I do have.  I've received one memorandum in a font called "Rockwell."  Since my computer doesn't have this font installed, it displayed the memorandum in Greek instead!)

Use margins of 1" on top and bottom, and 1.5" at left and right.

Turn the assignment in by placing it in TUCC8:\Class\Cbrown\CSCI1300\Lab4.  This should work just the same way as lab2 did.  Let me know if you have any problems with this.

The assignment is due on Thursday, September 17, no later than 8:15 AM.

This is a warm-up exercise for a somewhat more ambitious Lab 5 to be due next Tuesday.  Have fun!
