Celebrating Cultural Heritage
March was Women's History Month. This year's celebration
included a luncheon and the Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Lecture featuring
Barbara Martinez Jitner,
a human rights
activist, writer and director. She has focused her research on
Cuidad Juarez, a town on the border of Mexico
and the United States, near El Paso, where the rape and murders of over 400
women have gone unresolved
