Social fraternities and sororities are subject to the following Greek Council and Trinity University policies. Violation of these policies may result in a formal judicial investigation by the Greek Council Judicial Board and Greek Life staff.

    Sanction Limited Probation until the end of the fall 2008 semester. Mandatory educational workshop with Greek Life staff at the beginning of the spring 2008 semester and again in the fall 2008 semester.

    Sanctions Limited Probation until the end of Fall Alumni Weekend 2007 and the fraternity must have a representative at each Greek Council meeting during the period of Limited Probation.

    Semester/Year Spring 2005
    Sanctions General Probation through May 31, 2005, Limited probation through December 31, 2005, and 100 hours of community service through TUVAC with 90% of the club to be completed by December 2005.

    Sanction Revise orientation calendar, create an Orientation Advisory Committee, co-sponsor two events during a volunteer week on campus with 100% participation by the organization

Organization Omega Phi
    Semester/Year Spring 1999
    Sanction Year long probation, no new member class the following year, 100% participation in a leadership workshop, approximately 2000 hours of community service with 100% attendance at a MADD workshop, sponsor an all-campus event, rewrite orientation program, no members of the organization could serve on the Greek Council Executive Board the following year, and elect an orientation chair to serve two yeas to ensure continuity of change.

Disorderly Conduct Violations

    Semester/Year Fall 2003
    Sanction $5,000 fine, convene a panel of members, alumni, and faculty to conduct a thorough examination of the organizations’ practices and values.
