What is theProject?

theProject is a leadership experience based on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development.  First Year students, under the guidance and mentoring of upper-class students, explore the “Seven C’s” of leadership:

The Seven C’s of the Social Change Model of Leadership Development:

Consciousness of Self

Congruence

Commitment

Collaboration

Common Purpose

Controversy with Civility

Citizenship

The unique aspect of this program is the emphasis on the concept that leadership is not a position or title, but rather a process.
