Meet the O-Team |
 |
Adam Cason - O-Team Captain
Adam is
mega-pumped about coming back for his 3rd and final year on the
O-Team!When he's not busy being overcommitted, Adam enjoys
hiking, biking, and eating at Bill Miller Bar-B-Q. Although he
will deny it if asked in person, rumor has it that being able to
attend Playfair for a 4th time was a major reason for Adam's
return to the O-Team. Adam would also like to give a shout-out
to Mozart, his favorite pet fish.

Adriene Hassdolt
My name is
Adriene, and this will be my senior year at Trinity (and my
second year doing O-Team!). I've lived in Colorado all of my
life, but I have a passion for getting out to see the rest of
the world as much as I can - whether that be walking to the
nearest Target for a pack of orange tic-tac's, flying to Ukraine
and Romania (a trip to teach English, which I Loved last
summer), or making the 14 hour drive down to Texas every school
year (complete with a thrilling book on tape). This year I look
forward to speaking lots of Spanish (one of my majors), playing
pick-up soccer, and having crazy fun with the O-team and anyone
else that wants to join in. =)

Angelica Hofmann
Hi,
my name is Angelica Hofmann. I am an intended Business major
(intended being the key word :) ) I have one younger sibling, a
brother who is going to be a senior in High School. I love to
bake and to travel. My favorite vacation spot so far is the
Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. But, I'm going to Europe this
summer, which may beat the Bahamas!

Annie
Rappeport - Transfer Student Mentor
Legend tells
of a legendary transfer mentor whose mad transfer mentoring
skills were the stuff of legend. She came from a a distance land
of dry heat known as the mystical Tucson. Her destiny, like
yours called her this new land filled with exotic adventures on
the Texan campus of Trinity. Here she studies the mystical fine
arts of drama, music and the occasional neuroscience. She can
be found in her off-mentoring time at the Bell center where she
works as a trainer or off somewhere dancing the tango. She will
guide your on the first steps of your quest here, and invite you
to play the powerful game of basketball or to do the ultimate
test in your new home: rock band.

Catherine Casteel
Hi!
My name is Catherine. I'm a junior Communications major from Las
Cruces, NM, home of the world's biggest enchilada. I'm currently
the captain of the Women's Water Polo team. And no, we don't
teach the horses to swim :) My favorite parts of NSO were
Playfair and the Welcome Back Concert. Welcome Class of 2012!

Courtney Banks is going into her sophomore year here at
beautiful Trinity University. Courtney is an Ancient

tried-and-true Aggie fan.

 |
David Aguilar
I'm David
Aguilar, a sophomore Neuroscience / Premed major. I play guitar,
violin, and piano and enjoy making and watching bad movies. I'm
in the Bad Movie Club at Trinity, where we watch excellent films
such as Troll 2, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and The Room. I
also make bad puns as often as I can and will eat almost
anything anytime. I never lie, so if I'm telling you some
ridiculous story during Orientation week it's probably true.

David Russak
Hello, my

biology here at Trinity University. I am very excited to be a
new member of the O-Team this year. I enjoy giving back to my
school and my community, therefore, I am also involved in Alpha
Phi Omega Service Fraternity, theProject leadership
organization, hosting prospective students, and IM Soccer. I
enjoy meeting new people and I am very approachable so those of
you who have any questions don't be shy to ask. Welcome to the
Trinity family - you will have an awesome experience! See you

to sing, to dance, and to act and is involved with TigerTV.

 |
Emily Medley - O-Team Captain
This is my fourth year at Trinity
University and I love this place; the city, the quirky
atmosphere, the classes, the professors, and yes even the heat.
After spending a summer abroad in Italy I am so ready to get
settled back into life in San Antonio, and what better way to do
it than to get settled in with new faces. During the school
year I am involved in Alpha Phi Omega, intramural soccer, the
well, and the theatre's costume department. I take full
advantage of the liberal arts atmosphere at Trinity and I am a
Chemistry, Art History double major. If you have any questions
or any odd bits of trivia that you think I should know please
catch me during orientation or during the school year I'd be
happy to talk! Welcome to Trinity and I am sure you'll love it
as much as I do.

Erin Ross
Erin Ross is a food connoisseur who
specializes in noodles ‘n eggs and extravagant jello molds. She
enjoys rap music, exercising, and shiny objects. You can often
find her traversing through Central Market and almost never find
her in the Library. Erin enjoys playing piano, singing in the
rain, and shopping at the mall. She hopes that everyone has a
good freshman experience and that no one asks her for
directions.

 |
Hannah Bauman
Hannah
Bauman, 2010, is currently majoring in Ancient and Mediterranean
Studies, though this is extremely fluid and subject to change.
Following an unfortunate incident involving law enforcement and
escaped kangaroos, will go on the lam to England shortly after
NSO. Hopefully, the whole thing will blow over by the coming
semester. This is her second year on the O-Team, she belongs to
Anime Flux, Alpha Phi Omega, and Trinity Choir, and enjoys any
physical activity that doesn't involve running. She looks
forward to guiding the newest group of Trinity students to
academic and social success!

 |
Heather Gregory
Heather is an
avid argyle collector and a Charcoal Kitty enthusiast. When not
enjoying finishing crosswords at Coates Time in between classes,
Heather is most likely running around a pool table in the
North/South foyer playing an intense game of 2ball. She busies
herself by taking obscene amounts of photographs whenever
possible, and takes pleasure in people watching from the fourth
floor of the library. Awesome.
|
 |
Mark Sullivan
A
finger painting and Kite-craft major, Mark knows not what he
intends to do with his life. However, he does enjoy riding his
bike, petting dogs and hanging with his homies. This wil be his
second year working with NSO. He was overheard in Mabee one
evening making the following comment about his real reasons for
joining O-Team: "Orientation Team?!? More like Floor-ientation
Team because you know it's going to be down!"

 |
Mary-Grace Bayer
Mary-Grace is a
junior studying history and geosciences. After Trinity she's
going to law school to study environmental law in order to save
the planet from a slow and terribly painful death. She loves
flowers, chick flicks, hiking, singing, space, country western
dancing, hang gliding, trees, doodling, and reading. She is a
Swashbuckler, says no to drugs, and enjoys bubble baths more
than anything. The two things she dislikes about Trinity are
that there are no bath tubs and that students don't understand
the seriousness of recycling. She is involved in Reformed
University Fellowship, APO, Trinity Choir, intramural soccer,
and she wishes she could marry the Trinitones. She was also
Trinity Idol in 2007.

 |
Nell Glazener-Cooney
Nell Glazener-Cooney is a sophomore Political Science major from
Austin, Texas (Go Mac Knights!). She is super excited about her
first year on the infamous O-Team. Nell is involved with
several other groups on campus including Tour Guides and RUF.
When not hanging out with friends, running around to
different meetings, or doing the whole "college" thing, she
enjoys ninja adventures and writing personal biographies in the
third person.

 |
Rachna Turakhia
I am a
sophomore double majoring in Economics and International
Studies. I'm from a small town in Texas called Lake Jackson. I
enjoy being with friends, baking, playing cards, and reading. I
play the piano and love being outdoors. And, when I’m older, I
am going to travel the world.

Samantha Brusnighan
Hey guys! I am
Sam...Sam I am...and why, yes, I DO like green eggs and ham (fyi,
food coloring does not change the flavor of food). I am a
sophomore here at Trinity, and though I haven't officially
declared a major yet, I have
decided I am NOT majoring in Biology- way too many
Chem. classes for my taste. Right now I'm thinking
Psychology/Communications...Anyway, probably the most important
thing you could know about me is that I am constantly either
laughing, smiling, or trying VERY hard not to laugh. I can't
help it. I am really excited about this coming year, and look
forward to meeting you all! And if you ever run into me on
campus (literally or figuratively, seeing as how I am
slightly vertically
challenged), feel free to say hey!

Sarah
Hoelscher
Hi all! I'm
Sarah Hoelscher and I'm a sophomore here at Trinity. I'm
originally from San Antonio, so it's safe to say that I
absolutely LOVE it here! You'll soon come to find all of the
great things that this city has to offer. As far as majors are
concerned, I'm still undeclared, but I'm leaning towards
Business and Sociology, anything to get me working with people.
Outside of class, I've found myself involved in O-team
(obvious?), the Catholic Student Mass Choir**, and Ultimate
Frisbee. I'm definitely looking forward to meeting/welcoming
the incoming class of 2012! It's going to be such a great
year! Welcome to Trinity!
**there's no
official name for the choir, but that's what I like to call it!
:)

Sarah
Waniewski
Sarah
Waniewski is easily spotted in a crowd, due to her height and
red hair. When not sleeping, Sarah can be found at BDB, BMS,
MPH, and/or CT, or practicing her crippling ninja skills. In
addition to her hobbies of living life on the edge and being
awesome, Sarah enjoys tilting her head to look at the obscene
amount of pictures Heather Gregory takes and painting-by-numbers
instead of studying. She is graduating a year early in order to
pursue her dream of becoming a mob boss.
