ABOUT CLT
The Center for Learning and Technology (CLT) serves the educational
technology-related needs of the students, faculty and staff of Trinity
University. CLT
- maintains all campus electronic classrooms
- produces all types of multimedia materials
for use in classroom instruction or faculty research
- offers instruction to faculty and staff in
diverse software applications
- manages and operates the campus cable TV system
as well as the video streaming capabilities
- provides videoconference facilities for the
University
- delivers, repairs and maintains all campus
audio-visual equipment
In addition, CLT operates high-end computer studios offering digital
production capabilities and multiple platform access not found in
the campus general computer labs. The workstations in the CLT studios
include Windows and Macintosh systems, and incorporate flatbed scanners,
a dedicated film scanner, DVD and CD burners, and consumer-level
digital video editing capability. Equipment such as camcorders, digital
still cameras, projectors and screens is available in CLT for checkout
to faculty and staff, and to students for use in classroom projects. |
