Restricted Materials
The Restricted
Materials Policy governs what can and cannot
be duplicated in compliance with U.S. Code Title 18. Federal statutes
define crimes involving the duplicating, altering, assembling or
otherwise counterfeiting of items such as driver's
licenses, birth certificates, stamps and currency. All users of The
Studios @ CLT are responsible for being aware of the relevant
provisions and obeying the
laws regarding such activities.

While CLT abides by all U.S. and international copyright laws, it
attempts to support Fair Use of copyrighted materials in the context

Off-air Recording Guidelines
Faculty members can request
the recording of any broadcast program and cable channel
programs for classroom use. As per Congressional
off-air recording guidelines, use of such material in the classroom
is only permitted for the first ten school days following
the broadcast. It can then be retained for 45 calendar days for
preview purposes. For extended use beyond the 10/45 day period, written
permission must be obtained or a license must be acquired. If licensing
is not permitted, a prerecorded copy of the program must be purchased
and the off-air recording erased.
Room Reservations
CLT is responsible for scheduling the rooms available
in the library for library instruction, presentations,
meetings, etc.
Highest
priority
is given
to instructional
use by the library and CLT staff and for GIS classes. Please ensure
that you are familiar with the Training and Meeting Rooms Guidelines before
making a reservation. Reservations can be made online using the
Rooms Reservation form. You can also call CLT
