Tigers Fall to Second-Ranked UW-Oshkosh Saturday

San Antonio - The Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans, ranked No. 2 in the NCAA Division III, beat the No. 18 Trinity Tigers 25-18, 26-24, 25-18 in Saturday’s opening match of the Trinity National Invitational in Sams Gym.

Trinity now stands at 24-9 and will conclude the tournament later today by taking on No. 8 Wittenberg. 

Tiger junior right-side player Tayler Malloy led the team with 12 kills, hitting.360 in the match.  Junior setter Caiti Troyer produced 25 assists. The digs leader was junior defensive specialist Emily Hilliard, with 12.

Senior middle blocker Aly Hazelwood made four blocks to go with seven kills. First-year defensive specialist Meredith Erwin recorded the Tigers’ only two service aces.

Tayler Malloy finished with 12 kills and a .360 hitting percentage
