Trinity University Tigers senior middle
blocker Ginger Haley of Arlington, Texas (Temple Christian), is once
again the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of
the Week.
Haley, who also
earned the honor two weeks ago, was named Most Valuable Player last
Saturday at the Trinity Fall Classic.
She hit .400 for
the two-day event (26 kills, 5 errors, 52 total attacks), and had a
team-best 15 blocks (1.36 per set). For the season, Haley is hitting
.322 (194 kills, 56 errors, 428 total attacks), and has 90 blocks.
Trinity (24-8),
ranked No. 17 in the NCAA Division III, went 3-0 at the tournament. The
Tigers defeated Texas Lutheran and Texas-Tyler by scores of 3-0, and
edged Elmhurst 3-2.
Haley and her
teammates will play their final regular-season home matches this
weekend, by hosting the Trinity National Invitational Friday and
Saturday.

The Tigers will take on the top-ranked team in the nation, Juniata, on
Friday. Trinity meets No. 2 Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and eighth-ranked
