Transfer Student Admissions

If you are a currently enrolled undergraduate at another institution, you are elligible to apply to Trinity University as a transfer student. You will not apply directly to the teacher education program.

Transfer Students

Trinity University welcomes applications from transfer students with past records that demonstrate a commitment to academic achievement. Admission to Trinity is highly selective, and most admitted transfer students show a minimum cumulative college grade point average of 3.0 or higher (based on 4.0 scale) in full-time coursework. A higher grade point average is desirable if a student has been attending classes part-time or has taken less than four academic courses per semester. Trinity will accept a maximum of 64 transfer credit hours.

Trinity classes are held Monday through Friday, during working hours; few night classes are offered. It is not possible for an undergraduate student to obtain a degree from Trinity through the attendance of evening classes only. Additionally, transfer students who have been asked to leave their prior college due to low grades, academic probation, or scholastic withdrawal are rarely admitted to Trinity, and the University does not admit students on an academic probation basis.
