In order to register for the TExES/ExCET examination, a candidate must be currently enrolled (and in good standing) in the Master of Arts in Teaching program. Candidates must first complete 6-8 hours of test preparation with their supervising Clinical Faculty Member before registering for the appropriate content-level/grade-level examination.
After the candidate has created an educator profile on SBEC, he/she may then complete the test registration process through ETS.
