Mission of the Basic School Center

The mission of the Center is multi-faceted and includes:

• offering an ongoing renewal process for schools based on the tenets of the Basic School;
• serving as a vehicle of support for schools' learning;
• helping schools to customize the Basic School framework to their strengths and needs;
• providing high quality, standards-driven staff development with a continuity of information to maintain the integrity of the renewal model;
• provide a cross-school, cross-district support network for renewal based on best practice.
