Explanation of Deadlines:
Early Decision
The Early Decision Program is a deadline designed for students who know Trinity is their first-choice school, and who commit to enroll if admitted. This program is known as a binding agreement. Students are ethically bound to apply to only one school under Early Decision and will be expected to attend if offered admission. Applications must be postmarked by November 1 of the senior year for admission for the fall semester. Admission decisions are mailed on December 15, and students must submit a non-refundable $300 deposit by February 1 to hold a place in the class.
Early Action I and II
These programs are for students who wish to be informed early of their admissions status, but who do not want to be bound by the Early Decision policy. Early Action I applications must be postmarked by November 1. Students are notified of admission decisions by December 15. Early Action II applications must be postmarked by December 15. Students are notified of admissions decisions by February 1. Students applying under Early Action I or II must submit a $300 deposit or decline the offer of admission by May 1.
Regular Decision
To be considered under the regular decision deadline (the last deadline to apply for the Fall), applications must be postmarked by February 1 of their senior year. Regular Decision applicants are notified by April 1, and must submit a $300 deposit or decline the offer of admission by May 1.
Please make note of and adhere to these filing deadlines as you proceed through the admissions process. We can only respond to you in a timely manner if we have all of the information on time to complete the application. In all cases, the aforementioned deposit is in the amount of $300, which is used to reserve your spot in the class and in the residence halls. Also note that May 1 is a nation-wide common reply date; every school must give you at least until then to make up your mind (unless you apply through an Early Decision program).
The Financial Aid process is designed to run concurrently with the admissions process. Become familiar with Financial Aid application deadlines and filing procedures by browsing the Financial Aid site.
Transfer students must file their application and supporting documents by March 1 for fall admission and by October 15 for spring admission.
