CAMPUS ACTIVITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS
What can Trinity students do outside the classroom? Nearly anything they want. Over 130 campus social, political, creative, recreational, and service organizations give students ample opportunity to do all the things that interest them. Lectures, concerts, activities, and sporting events abound on campus, and since few students go home on weekends, they happen seven days a week throughout the school year. If you love to sing, act, play an instrument, or write, you can participate in campus performing groups and publications, even if you're not a music, drama, or communications major. And if there's not an existing club for your area of interest, the university has set aside funds for students to start new organizations.
Trinity is a very busy campus and our students are active and engaged. Approximately half of our students give their time to the community through the Trinity University Voluntary Action Center (TUVAC). 65 percent participate in intramural and club sports, and hundreds more are active at the varsity level in our competitive NCAA Division III athletic program. Nearly one third join one of the locally charted sororities or fraternities.
