Study Abroad: About 40% of Trinity students have studied in over 35 different countries and on every continent but Antarctica.
Required Courses: Trinity’s Common Curriculum consists of a First Year Seminar, a Writing Workshop (or a combination of the two called Readings from Western Cultures), and then students can choose from a wide variety of classes in each of the five essential areas, which represent the foundation of a liberal arts education. These areas are: Understanding Cultural Heritage (9 hours; 3 courses); Understanding the Arts&Literature (9 hours; 3 courses); Understanding Human Social Interaction (9 hours; 3 courses); Understanding Quantitative Reasoning (3 hours; 1 course); and Understanding Natural Science & Technology (6 hours)
