All programs are held on Trinity’s campus. For specific directions from major highways to campus see our All Roads Lead to Trinity page. Upon reaching campus, follow the signs for Trinity In Focus or Trinity 360° reserved parking.
What do I wear, and do I need to bring anything? — (BACK TO TOP)
Dress comfortably, wear your walking shoes, and you may want to bring a bag for any literature or brochures that interest you. There is no charge for the program (including lunch) so no money is needed. However the bookstore will be open, so bring your wallet if you’d like to make a purchase there.
Can I audition for a music scholarship while I’m on campus? — (BACK TO TOP)
Yes! Auditions are available during all Trinity In Focus programs and the March Trinity 360°. When registering, be sure to state that you are interested in an audition and your area of musical interest (i.e. voice, oboe).
Can I meet individually with an admissions counselor during the program? — (BACK TO TOP)
Unfortunately, because of the large group of visitors that we have on these days, we are unable to accommodate individual appointments. However, admissions counselors will be available throughout the programs to answer questions.
Are the Trinity 360° programs for admitted students different from the Trinity In Focus Saturdays? — (BACK TO TOP)
Yes! While there are some similar sessions, most of the day is quite different from the original TIF program and alternatives are provided for any repeated sessions. Parents are encouraged to attend different sessions from their children, and students have the opportunity to get to know some of their future classmates. Program topics may include:
- Academic Faculty Advising – Find out about academic advising and how Trinity assists students in course selection and registration
- Residential Life – Everything you need to know about your student living on campus
- Outcomes – Learn from faculty what students do after Trinity
- Sample Classes – Try out a class from such departments as philosophy, history, or business administration.
- Reflecting on the First Year – Hear from first year students what to expect during the transition to college life.
- 10 Different Extracurricular Panels – Talk with current students about the activities you want to do…volunteering, performing arts, intramurals, multicultural organizations, and Greek life…just to name a few.
- All these in addition to some of the popular sessions offered at the other TIF programs.
