PAYING FOR COLLEGE
Financing your child's education is probably one of the largest investments you will make in your child's future. Fortunately, Trinity offers both academic scholarships and need-based financial aid, and our tuition is thousands of dollars less than most institutions of comparable quality and selectivity.
"Trinity is a great school, and it's so affordable—much less expensive than other universities of the same caliber! Everyone is so friendly, and the faculty members are caring and smart. Andrew gets all the attention he needs, and even as a freshman, his professors know him. The whole point of Trinity is to have the students succeed—I love this school!"

A top-quality education is affordable for Trinity students from all walks of life
- Trinity distributes more than $35 million annually to help students pay for their education, and over three quarters of our students receive financial aid. 86% of the fall 2007 first year class was given financial assistance.
- The University's $991 million endowment subsidizes about one quarter of the actual cost of tuition for all students — helping us keep our costs considerably lower than most institutions of comparable quality and selectivity.
- An installment plan is available so that families can spread out their child's tuition into monthly payments.

How do you measure your investment in a Trinity education?
As a highly selective college with a national reputation, Trinity offers your son or daughter a top-notch education at a great value. And while some schools may have lower tuition rates, they can not match our unequaled combination of close personal attention from professors; first-rate resources; a beautiful campus in a charming, sunny city; and a diverse, smart, and active student body. Consider the facts:
- Trinity has been rated the "#1 Best Value/Western Universities" by U.S. News&World Report, a "Best Buy" among private colleges in the Fiske Guide, and a "Top 30 Value Among Private Colleges" by Kiplinger's Personal Finance.
- The overall cost of a Trinity degree may actually be lower than many public universities, since it generally takes less time to get a degree here (18% more Trinity students complete their bachelor's degree in four years or less, compared to students at public institutions).
