June 2008 Volume 17, Issue 1

Hello from the Alumni Office

Alumni chapters completed board elections in May.  Nine out of 14 established chapters have elected new presidents.  Check out the list of presidents with their contact information.  All chapters will hold their annual planning meetings in July.  To help them effectively plan their events, we will send out a survey later this month inviting your comments and suggestions.  So, stay tuned!

For many years, Trinity has offered a summer reading program specifically for first-year students to begin their college journey with a common literary experience.  This summer, Trinity will implement an expanded version of the program called Reading TUgether to involve intentionally all students, alumni, faculty, and staff.  This summer’s book is Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace One School at a Time. In the July issue of AlumNet, we will post an online form that you will be able to use to submit your comments and reactions.  In the August issue, we will post your comments.  We will share those comments with the author who will come to address our Trinity community in August. more>>
