As noted in the June issue, Trinity has offered a summer reading program for many years specifically for first-year students to begin their college journey with a common literary experience. This summer, Trinity will implement an expanded version of the program called Reading TUgether to involve intentionally all students, alumni, faculty, and staff. This summer’s book is Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace One School at a Time. In the August issue of AlumNet, we will initiate an online threaded discussion so that you will be able to submit your comments and reactions. It will be timely because the author will come to address our Trinity community on August 28. He will have a book signing at the end of his lecture.
