2000 - present Erin Harrigan, Class of 2003 I have recently moved to Melbourne, Florida after accepting a position with the Florida Institute of Technology. I am the new Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator - haha, yeah, its a bit wordy. Division II has been an interesting adjustment after working at three Division I athletic departments. I'm enjoying the challenge though, and with a sister in the area its nice to finally live near family - did I mention its 10 mins to Cocoa Beach?! Calling NYC Alumni: I am still working for Deloitte Consulting, and have temporarily returned to the Big Apple, staffed on a project that will run through 3/31/08 (at the shortest) to 3/31/09 at the longest. I'd love to touch base with those of you living and working in NYC and reconnect - drop me a line sometime! |

1990 - 1999 Kathryn Norbeck-Dayley, Class of 1999 Ron and I would like to announce that we are expecting our second child, due in early fall. Taggart James turned 1 this past July and is getting so big! Our school, SSF Submission Academy in Clarksville, TN is doing really well. We also own a fight gear company, SSF Gear, that continues to grow. Ron and our coaches teach Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), and Muay Thai. We also teach Pole Dancing classes for the ladies, it's a lot of fun! The local TV station, channel 9, is doing a reality TV show on the school, following Ron around as he trains and manages fighters. There is a really strong local MMA circuit just north of us in Kentucky and a lot of our students are competing on a regular basis. We also have one fighter out of Australia (Brad Morris) that SSF/Ron manages who just fought in Bodog and is being looked at by the UFC. So that's really exciting. Anyone interested and/or in the area, please check out our websites at: I got married a few weeks ago! The wedding took place on Saturday, January 12, 2008 here in Houston. My husband's name is Paul Jonathan Stewart and he is a doctor doing his residency in ophthalmology here at Baylor. I am still working in consulting for The Structure Group in their Energy Trading and Risk Management practice area. I'm also still running my jewelry design business on the side (for eight years now!), which was recently featured in Lucky Magazine. You can check out the designs at www.andreamontgomery.com. My husband Pete, 7-month old son Jackson, and I are moving back to San Antonio in March...after living 3 years in the UK (and 3 years before that in Omaha, Nebraska!) The little man arrived on September 01, 2007. Kathryn Leigh Kirt, Class of 1993 Kathryn Norris Kirt ('93) has just released a new CD called Itty Bitty Ditties for the New Baby. This CD includes 13 original songs written by Kathryn who is now living and singing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The songs were inspired by the experience of being a new mom, and they focus on things that a baby does everyday. Four of the songs can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/ittybittyditties. There is also a link to CDBaby.com where CDs can be purchased for $12.00 with a big discount if you get more than one! In October I started a fun new company called Hoopdydoo Creations (www.hoopdydoo.com) here in the Rocky Mountains. I make and sell custom hoops for fun and exercise. In March my family will be moving to Stuttgart, Germany for three to five years. I am hoping to continue my business there. Does anyone have any advice on owning a business in Europe? My husband, Martin & I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our son Alessandro Xavier Cuellar on December 29, 2007. We were expecting a 2008 baby, but he just wouldn't wait. Aunt Angelina ('91, '92) made sure that he already has a Trinity Tigers jersey to wear. |

For more information, please call Trinity University’s Office of Development at -------------------------------- -------------------------------- Attention, Alumni from the Class of 1972 to 1975: A feature movie scene that was shot on campus in 1972 had TU students in it [myself included] and after 35 years, this movie resurfaced and is out on DVD! The movie is "The Year of the Yahoo" by the famous gore-drive-in director Hershell Gordon Lewis [you can check out his web site, I think I have the spelling on the first name right?] hershellgordonlewis.com and can buy it there or on amazon.com. It is packaged with another one of his. As I recall they had put some handbills out in the drama department to 'recruit' free extras.. The movie is awful, but it was a real kick seeing friends and other students out there after 35 years! They describe it as a "rare classic once feared lost" .. There is a good audio/narration track by the cameraman who was in that scene at TU, under cornfed extras...and all his other trailers to the flicks he is famous for and has a cult following for...are outrageous and worth watching.. Thank you! Robert "Magic" Wands ‘74 Tell us your story! Click here for our newly introduced online form for submitting your nominations for AlumNet profile stories. |
