2000 - present Lauren Thompson, Class of 2005 I took a position at St. Mary's University in March as the Communications Coordinator in the University Communications office. I am working in PR and media relations, and writing for the magazine and e-newsletter. Raoul Treverton and I were married on March 28th in Austin, Texas. We were surrounded by close family and friends - 25 of whom came all the way from Raoul's native England, and many Trinity friends as well! We are both geologists and are now working in Houston, at last happily together on the same side of the Atlantic! Erin Heusser (McKinley), Class of 2003 Sarah Bradbury (class of 2007) and I wanted to announce to our Trinity family and friends that we are engaged! Sarah is completing a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M this year. I am settled in Austin, working for a government services consulting company called MAXIMUS, which runs the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the state of Texas. Emily Moeller White, Class of 2002 Emily (Moeller) and Daniel White welcomed their daughter, Caroline Elizabeth on March 19th, 2008! I'm thrilled to announce my engagement. David and I met when I was relocated to NYC. We will be getting married in San Antonio, January 3, 2009. On February 23rd, Adam and I were blessed with the arrival of our second daughter, Kenzi Micaela. She was 4.5 weeks early and spent two weeks in NICU. We are so happy to have her home now and she is doing very well. Big sister Kylar (who just turned 3)loves taking care of her. I am so excited to announce that I married Robert Belanger on March 29, 2008 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. It was the perfect day and we were so happy to share this with our family and friends. We had a great group of Trinity friends that were able to join us and it was so special to have that reunion. We will be living in Dallas for the time being. I am Assistant Director of Pan American Art Projects and Rob is Director of Special Projects at the Crow Collection of Asian Art. Hi everyone. I recently moved from NYC to Louisville KY for an external wholesaler position with AIG Asset Mgmt. My territory covers KY and IN. Drop me a line if you are ever in the area.

1990 - 1999 Jill Seagrave Kobayashi, Class of 1999 My husband Todd and I are excited to announce the birth of our baby girl, Caroline Frances born January 19, 2008. She is welcomed by Julia (3) and Samuel (1 1/2). We're all doing well here in beautiful Colorado Springs. We have much news to share -- On January 5, 2008 I celebrated my marriage to Janie Filoteo, who also started her first job as a professor in Sociology at Tomball College last August. Tanner ('98/'99) and Elizabeth ('99)(Katra) Ledford were both in our wedding party and we were happy to have them share that wild ride. We are now happily settled in our new home in the Heights of Houston with our dog, Chance, and cat, Alie. Sadly, we moved in four days prior to the death of my father. I was fortunate to be with him when he passed. Needless to say, it has been a rough couple of months. In his honor, I am participating in the American Diabetes Association walk this year and will be hosting a fundraiser with silent auction later this year. I invite you to consider supporting this endeavor at www.diabetes.org/stepout -- we're Team Pup-It-Up in Houston. I would love to hear from any old friends and hope all are doing well! My husband Jerry and I welcomed our second son to the family on October 10, 2007. Jonathan Woods Bluhm joins big big brother Michael (2 years old). Both boys enjoy spending time with "Awi" (Allison Whitten '98) and "KK" (Kristin Kaper '98). Michael mysteriously learns naughty new tricks whenever Allison visits. Like the majority of those posting messages here, I too am happy to announce the birth of my first child, Charles Allen Fahr. "Charlie", my wife Leigh, and I are all happy and healthy, living in Dallas. I continue to work for The Ayco Company, a division of Goldman Sachs focusing on private wealth management for corporate executives. If anyone I know actually reads this, feel free to send me a message saying hi. Maybe I will see some of you at the ten year alumni weekend? After three long and stressful years, I am very happy to say that I will be graduating from SMU Dedman School of Law this May! I'm still looking for a job, so if anyone knows of a firm in the Dallas area who could use an associate with excellent research and writing skills, here I am! My husband, Gene, and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our second son! Henry Joseph Silva was born March 21, 2008, weighing 8 lbs, 13 oz and measuring 21 1/4 inches in length. Big brother Will, 19 months, is adjusting well to having a new baby around the house, and Gene and I are getting used to being a family of four. We are happy to announce the arrival of our 4th child Rachel Elizabeth on March 21, 2008. We are currently residing in Burlingame, CA (a suburb of San Francisco) where I am enjoying my current role as stay at home mom. Phillip ('94) and I have been back in Texas a little over a year now. We're very happy to live in Fort Worth again. Our son Blake is 6 and finishing up Kindergarten in May. We took him to visit Trinity for the first time recently. It was winter break and campus was deserted, but beautiful as ever. Warm wishes to our friends. Hope everyone has a fun summer. In an effort to network Trinity graduates who later went on to law school, Joe Terry ('95) and I ('95) are in the process of co-founding the Trinity Bar Association (TBA). We are working with the Trinity Alumni Office to get the word out on this venture, and need your help to accomplish the widest possible distribution. The TBA will be open to all Trinity graduates who attended law school. Membership is free. I'll send out an as yet to be titled e-newsletter every so often (quarterly? semi-annually?) which profiles a few lawyers from across the country who have interesting practices or careers. Additionally, if Trinity barristers wish to announce some significant professional or personal accomplishment, I'll be happy to mention it. Win a big case? Make partner? Disbarred? Let us know! At this early stage, the format is far from set in stone, but if we can pull it off, it will be both informative and entertaining. I welcome your suggestions and ideas for structure, content and improvements. The Houston TBA chapter, and I use the term "chapter" very loosely, will gather every so often for fellowship, tall tales, and where applicable, libations sponsored by Terry & Thweatt, P.C. Hopefully, folks in other cities will do the same and report back with entertaining updates on the comings and goings of our peers. If you are interested in joining, you can contact me directly at: lthweatt@terrythweatt.com or via our law firm website: www.terrythweatt.com. I'll include you in whatever happens. Lastly, at least the initial email notice on this will be coordinated through the Alumni Office. There are about 900 or so Trinity grads who've identified themselves as lawyers. The actual number of Trinity grads who are lawyers is surely much higher. To ensure you are contacted about membership in the TBA, please update your contact information on the Trinity alumni website at: https://alumni.trinity.edu/ or email the alumni office at: alumni@trinity.edu We'll kick this off sometime in the May/June timeframe. Looking forward to it... My wife, Lindsay, and I are pleased to announce the birth of our first child, Ashley Ryan Jacaman. Ashley was born on March 21, 2008 (7 lbs., 5 ozs.). We live in Dallas, where I am a partner in the real estate section of Andrews Kurth LLP. My wife Caitlin and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Riley Whyte MacDonald, on March 8th. Riley is our first child and, boy, she sure goes to the bathroom a lot. We welcomed baby #3, Hollis Elaine, to our family on December 8, 2007. Our older two children, ages 5 and almost 3, think she's fabulous, and we agree. I and my wife Kimberly are happy and proud to announce the birth of our first child! Jonathan Cuauhtemoc Mendoza was born on March 3, 2008. My husband and I have just moved to from Lebanon, TN to Richmond, VA. I am practicing radiology at an outpatient MRI facility in Richmond. This has been a very interesting year. Some sad news - my father died on Feb. 22 after fighting kidney cancer for about 18 months. He was only 67, but had lived an amazing life. For the good news: I was contacted by my birth mother in September 07 and just met her for the first time in March over spring break. It has been a wonderful reunion. Finally, on March 17, I found out that I received my promotion to Associate Professor and tenure!!! Wow, what a year (yes, my years still run on the school calendar). I am the Dean of the School of Business at Marian College in Indianapolis, IN. Feel free to drop me a line. I am proud to announce the birth of my daughter, Victoria "Tory" Sage. She was born on February 26th and is everything I ever wanted. As for me, I am still practicing law here in San Antonio. Anyone who wants to keep in touch, feel free to email me.

Your gift matters, every day. Your gift makes a difference, every year! If you have not yet sent your gift, there’s still time to join your classmates before the May 31 deadline. A quick and easy way to make your annual gift is through Trinity’s secure website at www.trinity.edu under “Supporting Trinity”. -------------------------------- As a group, we decide the world region we want to explore. We then lay out a series of topics related to the region that we will pursue in depth over the course of each monthly meeting. By planning topics in advance, we allow time for members to conduct independent study, if so inclined, prior to the discussion. We extend an open invitation to all who share our interest in international affairs and who are willing to come prepared to engage in rich, in-depth discussion. Many of our members have lived and worked abroad; some are also members of either the World Affairs Council or the San Antonio Council for International Visitors, a local chapter of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. Faculty and graduate students from area universities are particularly encouraged to attend. There is no membership fee, but we hope you will join us for dinner following the discussion as gratitude to the restaurant for providing us meeting space. What: International Affairs Discussion Group When: 4 – 6:30 p.m., the second Sunday of each and every month Where: La Madeleine Restaurant, 4820 Broadway (just a few blocks north of the Hildebrand Intersection) – private meeting room For further information contact: Tell us your story!
