Mary Kay Cooper

Mary Kay Cooper
Mary Kay comes to the Office of Alumni Relations with 14 years of relationship-building experience gained through enrollment management and student recruitment.  She received a bachelor's degree in English from Seton Hill University (PA), a master's in theology from Wheeling Jesuit University (WV), and a doctoral degree in administration and leadership from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Before moving to Texas, she worked at a variety of small private universities in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

As Director, Mary Kay works with staff to oversee all aspects of alumni relations including alumni programs, organizations, and communication (the Trinity magazine, AlumNet, and the alumni website). She works directly with the 36-member National Alumni Board to support their work of promoting lifelong relationships between and among current and future alumni, honoring outstanding alumni, and strengthening the voice of Trinity alumni in the University community. She also works with the 25- and 50-year reunions.

Selim Sharif
Selim Sharif
Associate Director
Selim is the contact for all alumni events in chapter and non-chapter cities throughout the country, faculty lectures and visits to alumni chapters, and the 40-Year and 45-Year class reunions. Selim is also the moderator for AlumNet, the alumni monthly electronic newsletter.
Selim holds a Master's degree in international relations from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to Trinity, Selim served at the U.S. Information Service in Dhaka from 1979 to 1997, coordinating arts and education programs.


Adrienne Tovar

Alumni Information Systems Coordinator

Adrienne maintains alumni records, serves as the lead contact for online community, coordinates and manages registrations for all alumni events, updates sections of the Trinity Alumni webpage as needed, and works closely with the Advancement Service Manager and Development Information Systems Coordinator for reporting and analysis.  Adrienne received a BA in Administration from Incarnate Word University ’10.


Elizabeth Ford

Alumni Volunteer Coordinator
Elizabeth works with Admissions and Career Services, and develops other volunteer opportunities, to engage alumni in meaningful work and service with the University. She also helps plan the 20-, 30-, and 35- year class reunions.
Elizabeth earned a BA from Trinity in Religion in 1993 and an MS in Healthcare Administration in 1996. Before returning to Trinity, she worked at Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital and the Witte Museum where she was involved in supervising volunteers, legislative and community advocacy, and development.

Crystal Benavides

Christine Sun
Young Alumni and Student Programs Coordinator
Christine helps build relationships and networking opportunities between students and Alumni.  She coordinates programs to recognize Trinity graduates and assists students with the transition to becoming active Alumni.  Christine also organizes the 5-, 10-, and 15- year class reunions. Christine received a Bachelors in Organizational Management.  She has been actively planning events on a volunteer basis with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, YMCA of Reston, VA and the American Cancer Society.

Monica Reina

Monica Reina
Senior Secretary
Monica is the Senior Secretary for the Office of Alumni Relations. Her job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering the telephone, greeting visitors, managing the office budget, working closely with student workers, as well as supporting the Director, Associate Director and Coordinators. Prior to joining the Office of Alumni Relations, Monica worked for Our Lady of the lake University as an Admissions Specialist for the Weekend College where she worked for 4 ½ years. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Arts/Public Relations from OLLU.

Glenna McCord
Glenna McCord ‘47
A 1947 Trinity graduate, Glenna volunteers her time in the Alumni Office. In addition to offering students and alumni a rich oral history of the Trinity University of the 1940's, Glenna compiles, writes and edits the Class Notes for Trinity Magazine.
