Battle of Flowers Parade

In accordance with the adage of “everyone loves a parade,” more than 34 Trinity University alumni, staff, and friends showed great school spirit as they represented Trinity in the Battle of Flowers parade on April 25, 2008 in San Antonio with the always popular Tiger balloon. This year’s parade theme was "Broadway...and All That Jazz." LeeRoy, Trinity’s beloved mascot, delighted children of all ages along the parade route. In addition, the announcer’s mention of the spectacular Mississippi Miracle play and the tossing of the football among Trinity volunteers made the 2008 Trinity parade entry complete.

What would a Fiesta celebration be without a party on the San Antonio River? Alumni and their guests had a wonderful time at the Trinity Alumni River Parade Party, the most fabulous event of the year for the San Antonio chapter.
