Excellence in Art Awards

The Excellence in Art Awards were established in the 1980’s. They are chosen by the faculty in the studio arts program to recognize outstanding achievement in studio art. The Excellence in Art Awards are given to one more students based on the following criteria:

  1. Senior status
  2. Art Major
  3. Ongoing evidence of outstanding achievement (quality and depth of work) in the production of studio artwork in one or more of the following media, painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, digital photography or digital art, and the potential to continue in the field of studio arts.
  4. G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Nomination and endorsement by the Studio Art Faculty.
