This year, the Equestrian
Team plans to host one show each semester and to attend the UT and LSU
shows. Please see our schedule page for more
information about dates for shows this year.
The intercollegiate shows
Trinity competes in are designed so that all riders have the same advantages
while competing. The barns that host the show provide the horses. Riders draw a
horse's name and ride that horse with no warm-up time in the show. In the hunter
classes, riders are judged solely on their form and abilities
Divisions in the show range from walk/trot to walk/trot/canter for the flat. The over fences classes have 2'3", 2'6"-2'9", and 3'-3'6" divisions.
Trinity competes in IHSA shows against schools such as SMU, LSU, UT, Southwestern, Rice, NCTC, Southern Nazarene University, Tulane, and University of Oklahoma.
