Club sports at Trinity offer tremendous leadership opportunities as students organize all the day-to-day operations from running practices to maintaining an operating budget. The University provides competition space and administrative support for the teams. Trinity teams have competed in the national tournament in trap & skeet, men's volleyball, and men's water polo in the past four years. Men's water polo won the Division III Club National Championship in 2001.  Trap & Skeet won the ACUI National Team Championship in 2000.  Men's volleyball had its highest finish ever (finishing in the top 10) at the NIRSA National Club Championships in 2004. Women's lacrosse finished second in the division and third in the state of Texas in the spring of 2005.
