Aug. 29 Tubing – Comal - $25

Come float down the river with a hundred of your closest friends! It is guaranteed to be a blast! So get your semester started right by joining us in this annual Trinity tradition.

Sep. 5 Scuba – Trinity Pool – Free

Join us at the Trinity pool for a free scuba diving demonstration. This is sure to be a great introduction for anyone who has ever wanted to breathe underwater.

Sep. 11-12 Beach Camping – Gulf Coast - $40

Are you ready for some relaxing Zen beach camping? Try and be the boogie border champion, build some sand castles, cook some great food, find some awesome shells, and be with great friends! Get outside San Antonio for a day and night and play in the ocean! There will be plenty of time for some relaxing in the sun and listening to the rhythm of the waves as they rock you to sleep.

Sep. 18-19 Sailing and Camping – Texas A&M - $75

Sail away from your academic responsibilities. Literally. Come with us for a weekend to camp on a beautiful lake and learn how to sail! The sun is out, the breeze is great, and the weekend is perfect

Sep. 25-27 Surfing – Gulf Coast - $130

You know that amazing feeling when you go to the beach and see those cool surfer dudes riding the big waves and you wish you could be one of them? Now you can become one of them! Camp on the beach, enjoy the most delicious beach camping food you've ever tasted cooked by the famous Bill, and get some personal surfing lessons and surf to your heart's desire. Already a pro? Come join to show off your hot moves!  

Oct. 10 Canoeing – Llano River

Escape the San Antonio heat and humidity and canoe down one of the most pristine bodies of water in Texas. Jump in the crystal-clear water to cool off, and check out all the fish and other wildlife around the riverbank. We'll float the beautiful, spring-fed Llano river all day and maybe even end up at Cooper's for some of the best Bar-B-Que in Texas!

Oct. 10 Hang Gliding

Come hang gliding over Canyon Lake and soar over 1000 feet in the air. It is a truly breathtaking experience, something you surely wouldn't want to miss! Canyon Lake is a perfect little get away in the hill country so come have an exciting day trip!

Oct. 16-18 Climbing, Camping, Swimming – Camp Eagle - $65

Not sure what to do this fall break? How about coming with O-Rec to the outdoor wonderland of Camp Eagle? This locale offers more amazing activities than you can handle including rock climbing, canoeing, blobbing, caving and the second longest zip line in Texas; not to mention the general companionship and fun that is to be had on any O-Rec trip. This is definitely one of our favorite spots to trip to and after this extended weekend it is sure to be one of yours too.

Oct. 24 Biking Missions Trails – San Antonio – Free w/your own bike, $40 w/o bike

Don’t you miss the feeling of wind blowing in your hair? Come out for a pleasant afternoon bike ride with your friends along the San Antonio River and explore our city’s four Franciscan Missions dating back to the mid 1700s. This adventure on two wheels is a perfect way to venture out beyond the Trinity bubble!

Nov. 7-8 Intro to Backpacking – Lost Maples - $45

Come experience the beauty of autumn at Lost Maples State Natural Area. Whether you’re a newbie to backpacking or an experienced pro we will teach you the basic skills needed to travel safely and enjoyably in the backcountry. It is sure to be a fun filled weekend walking beneath the fall foliage and sleeping under the stars.

Nov. 14-15 Bouldering and Camping – Enchanted Rock - $40

There is no doubt that early humans loved to climb huge slabs of rocks for fun. They did it thousands of years ago, so why can’t we? Chalk up with Outdoor Rec as we set out for a sweet bouldering escapade followed by camping and stargazing in the shadow of a pink granite rock that rises 425 feet in the air.

Nov. 26-29 Thanksgiving Backpacking – Palo Duro Canyon - $115

Did your family leave you feeling stranded and neglected this Thanksgiving? Why don't you come to the magnificent Palo Duro Canyon for a great time backpacking, camping, and telling stories around the campfire with the family you never knew you had! The Canyon has been dubbed "The Grand Canyon of Texas" and is definitely a great alternative to having awkward conversations with your grandparents who probably cant hear you anyway.
