Event Management Assistant

 

Description:  The primary function of the Event Management Assistant is to help with the set up and tear down of equipment used for intercollegiate athletic events.   This position will also provide support with game day management of events.

 

Qualifications:

1.      Status as an enrolled Trinity student.

2.       A professional attitude, and willingness to learn.

3.       Must be able to lift 30lbs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1.      A background in athletics or event management.

2.      Federal Work Study.

 

General Responsibilities:

 

1.      Set up of intercollegiate sporting events.

2.      Assisting with crowd control at events.

3.      Ensuring that a safe environment is provided for teams, officials, and spectators.

4.      Enforcing policies and rules set forth by the department.

5.      Seeing that any facility requests of the coaches and officials are attended to.

6.      Reporting any broken equipment or facility issues to the Assistant Athletic

            Director.

7.       Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director.
