Trinity Fills 2009 Schedule With Home Game Against Azusa Pacific
Trinity's football team, which lost a game when Colorado College announced it would be dropping its football program next year, has filled out the 2009 schedule with a home game against Azusa Pacific (CA) University on October 31.

Former Tiger Standout Jerheme Urban to Play in Super Bowl
Former Trinity University football and track & field standout will play in the Super Bowl on February 1, in Tampa, Florida.  Urban, a wide receiver with the National Football League's Arizona Cardinals, set numerous records in both football and track & field during his Tiger career.

Wade Lytal Earns a Spot on D3football.com All-South Region Team
Senior offensive lineman Wade Lytal was selected to the D3football.com All-South Region Second Team.  Lytal previously earned First Team All-SCAC honors for the second straight season.

Trinity Has 17 Players Earn All-SCAC Honors in 2008
The Tiger football team had 17 players earn All-SCAC honors for their performance this season.  Trinity had 12 on the first and second teams, as well as five more earning honorable mention status.  Click above for the SCAC release.

Tiger Football Downs Austin College to Finish Regular Season
Trinity's football team finished off the 2008 regular season with a 38-14 win over Austin College on Saturday afternoon.  The Tigers pulled away with a 14-point fourth quarter, thanks in large part to career days from quarterback Bryant Wilson and receiver Chris Coleman.

Trinity Falls at Centre on Saturday for Second Straight Loss
The Tiger football team lost its second straight game on Saturday, losing a 26-17 game at Centre College.  Trinity took an early lead, but was unable to hang on.  The Tigers cut the lead to three points in the fourth quarter, but Centre answered with its own score to help clinch the win.

Three Football Players Earn CoSIDA Academic Honors
Trinity's football team had three players earn CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honors.  Kyle Coats, Baron Rabe, and Willi Smith were all named to the first team.

Millsaps Defeats Trinity in Matchup of SCAC's Top Teams
Trinity's football team lost a 56-27 game to Milllsaps College on Saturday afternoon, snapping Trinity's 37-game home winning streak in SCAC play.  It is also Trinity's first home loss to a Division III school since 1995.
