Evan Reville Earns Spot on D3football.com Team of the Week

San Antonio – Trinity University Tigers senior defensive back Evan Reville has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.

Reville, from Oklahoma City (Casady), recorded five tackles (three solo) and a fumble recovery in Trinity’s 22-21 win over Texas Lutheran last Saturday in Seguin.

For the two games this season, Reville has chalked up 15 tackles (eight solo), two pass breakups, one fumble recovery and a forced fumble.

Earlier this week, first-year kicker Garrett Biel of Clayton, Calif. (Joshua), was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. The 5-foot-8, 164-pound Biel booted a 34-yard-field goal as time expired in the Tigers victory. Biel kicked a school-record-tying three field goals (on three attempts) for the Tigers.

Trinity, led by head coach Steve Mohr, stands at 2-0 and will take on Rhodes College (2-0) in an SCAC opener at 1 p.m. Saturday in Memphis, Tenn. Visit Trinity’s Athletics Web site  for links to the live webcast.
