·        Receiver for the Tigers from 1969 through 1972.

·        Chosen for Associated Press Little All-America Third Team and United Press International All-Texas College First Team. Also an All-Southland Conference honoree.

·        Held Tiger receiving records for 30 years: career receiving yards (2,285) and receptions (157) until 2002.

·        Led in single-season touchdowns (nine in 1972) until 1997, and tied in 1998.

·        Was fifth in career touchdown receptions (22) and first until 1999.

·        Won the gold medal in racquetball at National Senior Olympic Games, 2003. Also won gold medal as Texas state champion in Senior Olympics, 2001-2003.
