2) A women’s ball MUST BE USED
for all co-rec games.
No exception!! The two
basketballs in the locked cage in the Webster Closet are women’s balls.
3) Take the pinnies
from the IM office and bring them back up each night.
4) Record the names for all
participants and remember to check IDs!!!
5) If there are two games going
at once, you’ll need to set up a scoreboard for each court. Make sure the proper scoresheets
get to each table.
6) Make sure all team members
sign in prior to their game - EVEN IF
THE GAME IS A FORFEIT - have everyone sign in on the roster.
7) Keep the running score of each game.
Indicate the winner of each game.
I can’t stress the importance of keeping the running score. If something happens to the scoreboard, we
need to know what the score of the game is.
8) First record the running
score on the score sheet, and THEN put the points on the scoreboard. The score sheet is the official score, not
the score board.
9) Keep track of individual
scoring. Every player should have a
jersey with a number.
10) It is VERY IMPORTANT to
record both the team fouls and the personal fouls.
11) Let the game referees know when
the team reaches 6 and 9 team fouls respectively.
12) Circle the game winner.
13) Check the basketball rules
sheet to get more information about rules.
14) The courts and closet need
to be cleaned up at the end of the night.
