| Claremont, California –

doubles points, but did manage to win two three-set matches in singles
play, with a third match going three sets - though that was won by
Claremont.
Claremont improves to 15-3 on the season, and
snaps Trinity's five-game winning streak that dated back nearly one
month.
James Furr won at No. 3 singles 6-3, 5-7, 14-12 to
improve to 8-2 on the season. He has also won six consecutive
singles matches. Varun Munjal also won his eighth singles match of
the year (just three losses) and has won four straight.
David Tran lost for the time this season, falling
to 9-1 in singles play. Tran lost 4-6, 6-7 in singles, as well as
falling 1-8 in doubles play (with partner Crisanto Ramirez).
Trinity continues its road weekend in California
with a match against the University of Redlands tomorrow, followed by a
neutral match on Sunday against Pacific Lutheran University. That
final match will be played at Claremont. |
