St. Peter, Minnesota – Trinity's men's tennis team edged DePauw University 5-4 to take fifth place at the ITA Indoor National Championships on Saturday night at Gustavus Adolphus College.

Trinity (4-3) took two out of three doubles matches to start things off, but DePauw grabbed victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles to take a 3-2 lead.

Trinity answered with a win at No. 3 singles by James Furr to tie the match, but DePauw regained the lead with another singles win.

Crisanto Ramirez then scored a win at No.6 singles for Trinity to make it 4-4 overall, followed by a thrilling three-set win by David Tran at No. 4 singles to take the team victory.  Tran remains unbeaten in singles this season, including three straight wins this weekend.
