Tigers Finish 11th at UMHB Invitational

Temple, Texas – The Trinity Tiger women's golf team placed 11th out of 16 teams on Tuesday at the UMHB Lady Crusader Fall Invitational, at Wildflower Country Club.

The Tigers shot 373 each day for a total of 746, which was 26 strokes ahead of Texas Lutheran.  Trinity finished 11 behind UT-Brownsville for a place in the top 10.  Lubbock Christian was the team champion, registering a 621.

Trinity seniors Anne Wooton and Olivia Kotter both tied for 38th place individually, as the pair shot 175 for the 36-hole event.  Wooton shot an 87 in the final round, while Kottter finished with a score of 90 today.

Trinity wraps up its fall season next Monday and Tuesday by hosting the 36-hole Alamo City Classic at River Crossing Golf Club in Spring Branch, Texas.
