Trinity Eliminated by Emory in NCAA Quarterfinals

St. Louis, Missouri – Trinity's men's tennis team was eliminated in a 5-0 loss to Emory University in the NCAA Quarterfinals on Tuesday morning.

Trinity (18-5) lost all three doubles matches, then fell at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, which clinched the match for Emory.

Emory, ranked third in the nation, advances to face Middlebury College in the NCAA Semifinals.  Trinity, ranked seventh nationally, advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the sixth straight season.

None of the men's singles players or doubles teams were selected for the NCAA Championships, so the season officially comes to a close with today's loss at Washington (Mo.) University.
