Coach Yelacic earned the bachelor
of science degree in marketing in May 2007 from Misericordia
University in Dallas, Pa. He was voted the men’s swim team most
valuable player from 2004 to 2007 and was captain for the last two
years. Coach Yelacic left Misericordia with eight individual school
records and was part of all five relay school records. He also
helped the men’s team achieve Academic All-American status each of
his four years.
An outstanding student-athlete,
Coach Yelacic, who minored in management, was a member of the
Misericordia Dean’s List and was named a Scholar-Athlete in 2005,
2006 and 2007. His numerous achievements include the 2007 Mary Ann
Thompson Memorial Student Achievement Award for Outstanding
Community Service and Academic Accomplishments.
He has extensive experience in
teaching and instruction in San Antonio. Coach Yelacic coached the
swim team at Hunters Creek Community Association and was the
assistant at Northwest Crossing Community Association and Forest
Oaks Community Association.
Coach Yelacic is a natural to coach in San Antonio, as he is a 2003
graduate of John Marshall High School. He also was a standout
