Women's Results Trinity Men Win SCAC
Title; Women's Team Finishes Third The Tiger men's track & field team won
its second straight SCAC Championship by coming
back from third place at the start of the day on
Saturday afternoon. The women's team
finished third after winning the title last
season.

Tiger Track Teams Both Third After First Day at
SCAC Meet Trinity's men's and women's track teams
are both standing in third place after the
opening day of the SCAC Championships Meet on
Friday. Emily Loeffler won the 3000 meter
steeplechase, while Jeremy Daum broke his own
record in the same event for the men.

Chris Baer Earns SCAC Field Athlete of the Week
Honor Tiger track & field athlete Chris Baer
was named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week for
his performance last weekend. Baer won the
javelin throw and broke his own school record in
the event at the David Noble Relays.

Baer Breaks Javelin Record to Highlight
Successful Meet for Trinity Trinity's Chris Baer won the javelin
throw - breaking his own school record - on
Saturday at the David Noble Relays, highlighting
a very successful meet for the Tiger track &
field teams. Emily Loeffler won the 1500
meter run, while Chass Armstrong was the 800
meter run winner.

Tweedy Finishes Ninth in Heptathlon at David
Noble Relays Tiger sophomore Elizabeth Tweedy finished
ninth in the heptathlon at the David Noble
Relays on Friday in San Angelo, Texas. The
meet continues on Saturday, as other members of
Trinity's track & field teams will compete at
Angelo State University.

Chass Armstrong Named SCAC Men's Track Athlete
of the Week Tiger sophomore Chass Armstrong was named
the SCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week for his
performance at the Pomona Invitational last
weekend. Armstrong broke his own record in
the 1,500 meter race.

Break Their Own TU Records at Pomona Zach Brush and Chass Armstrong both set
new Trinity records at the Pomona Invitational
on Saturday, also earning provisional qualifying
marks for the NCAA Championships. Brush
broke his own school record in the 800, racing
to the nation's top time in Division III.
Armstrong also broke his own record in the 1,500
meter run.
Chass Armstrong has provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in
the 1500 meter run, and recently broke his own Trinity record in the
event.
