Houston, Texas
– Trinity sophomore Todd Wildman has earned an
NCAA Division III men’s indoor high jump provisional qualifying mark.
Wildman finished in a tie for
eighth place Saturday at the University of Houston Invitational with a
jump of 6 feet, 7.50 inches (2.02 meters). He became Trinity’s first
men’s qualifier in the NCAA Division III high jump event. The
performance also established a school record, as the previous mark was

The NCAA Indoor Track and Field
Championships are slated for March 9-10 at the Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology in Terre Haute, Ind. Official invitations will be issued,
March 5.
Trinity has a history of high
jump success. Christyn Schumann, who graduated last May, won one women’s
NCAA indoor and three outdoor championships.
The Tigers’ head track and field
coach is Jenny Breuer and the high jump coach is Ziggy
Szelagowicz. |
