Action on Friday
The Tiger volleyball
team swept both Mount Union College and Hiram
College on Friday night in Hiram, Ohio.
Trinity won 25-19, 25-22, and 25-20 over Mount
Union, then took a 25-12, 25-18, 25-19 win over
Hiram. The Tigers face Washington &
Jefferson and seventh-ranked Wittenberg
tomorrow.

Wins
Trinity's volleyball team
finished 4-0 at the SCAC East-West Tournament
over the weekend, securing two more wins on
Sunday afternoon. The Tigers beat Centre
3-1 (25-9, 25-9, 24-26, 25-19) in the morning,
then finished the day with a 3-1 (21-25, 25-20,
25-17, 25-15) win over Austin College.

Volleyball Begins
SCAC Tournament With a Pair of Wins
Trinity's volleyball team
began its second SCAC tournament of the year
with wins over DePauw and Oglethorpe on
Saturday. The Tigers beat DePauw 3-0
(25-21, 25-20, 25-22) and then won 3-1 (23-25,
25-23, 25-12, 25-15) over hosting Oglethorpe.

The Tiger
volleyball team, ranked fifth nationally, lost a
3-1 decision to second-ranked Emory University
on Friday night in Atlanta, Georgia. Emory

second straight time over Trinity.

split its opening day of action at the
University of Puget Sound Invitational on
Friday, beating Cal State-East Bay, but falling
to La Verne. Sixth-ranked Trinity won

Bay, then lost 23-25, 25-15, 17-25, 18-25 to
fifth-ranked La Verne.

Volleyball Earns Split for Weekend Tournament
Trinity's volleyball team
earned a split for the weekend of action at the
Alamo City Classic on Saturday after defeating
Texas A&M-Kingsville in the finale.
Western New Mexico beat the Tigers 3-2 (22-25,
20-25, 26-24, 25-12, 15-6) in earlier action,
but Trinity earned the 3-1 (25-21, 16-25, 25-23,
25-21) win to cap the day.

Trinity's volleyball
team opened up its part in the 2008 Alamo City
Classic - co-hosted with Incarnate Word - by
beating Southwest Baptist State 3-2. In
the final match of the evening, the Tigers were
beaten by 3-1 by Tarleton State.
